#32 - Getting back, again.
I'm back, sorta, LOL. Just because I am kinda free tonight with nothing important in my to-do list. I managed to change my layout and feature one of the most impossible human that I could feature on my layout. Yup, Shin Soohyun is my ultimate idol bias and I can never be able to work on his solo photo since his debut. However I am proud to say that I managed to handle myself and managed to create this simple layout featuring him because U-Kiss' comeback is amazing! Well, not really, but the song Take It Slow got me XD Check it out here:
And as for my life, well, school just reopens and I have a whole new stuff to do, especially when the exam is over and I need to analyse my students' results, and plan on the next thing to do to improve their English. The 1.8 students are going sorta out of control these days - only the boys. However, I guess it is because they are still in the holiday mode? I hope they will be back to their old new-selves like the one before the holiday. Took me three months to get their head in the game, and it took only two weeks of schoolbreak for them to lose it again! kids~ lol.

#21 - Spending Quality Time
It's the 2nd (or is it 3rd?) week of school holiday. Everyone is mostly traveling out and about, as what I see on my FB timeline, and school's Whatsapp Group. Me? I am home, spending quality time (-ish hahaha) with my family. Well, mostly eating out, and mall-hopping. We don't have any plan to travel this year, probably because my sister is in the middle of her final exam. Last year, at this time of the year, my 3rd sibling and my parents are enjoying their holiday in Sabah, and I was cracking my head marking exam papers. I am glad I don't have to do it this year. It is challenging and tiring. Nonetheless, I learnt a lot from it. And despite of not going anywhere, I attended quite a few events (none-KPOP event, tho) and the recent one was the Media Conference of our local artist, Henley Hii. It was our first experience, attending a local media conference and I must say it was a bit awkward for the first 5 minute.The event was conducted fully in Mandarin (since Henley Hii is a Chinese singer), and my sisters and I are the only Malay (non-chinese speaker) there. The manager, and even the emcee were concerned whether we understand the whole event or not, since we need to do a write-up after the conference. It was hard, because I only understood 30% of the whole conference, but we took the opportunity to expose ourselves to the local music industry. We have been a fan of Mandarin songs since we were young, thanks to our neighbours who love to play his S.H.E and other Mando-pop singers albums out loud that we even know how to sing the song. We are lucky that this year, we are able to attend quite a lot of local artists' events, and help spread their talents to our readers. I need to re-study my Mandarin textbook to help me understand them more, hahaha~
This time, it was my sister who took the photos. I just have to edit them before publishing it to our website. It is a total challenge especially when you are editing his picture where he is looking straight at the camera keke~ again, mission 2016, getting a new lens OR a new camera for my sisters.

We had a Teacher's Day celebration at school, and the theme is "Back To School" but I never planned to wear my school uniform (which will bring back all the nightmares I had when I was in high school) So I decided to go with "college look". I wore a blouse, trousers, a jacket and added some accessories like file binders, student card, and backpack. I couldn't care less when some teachers commented how I didn't show much effort, unlike them who even bought a new set of school uniform just for that 5 hours event! Plus, I will be walking around taking photos, so since I'm wearing trousers, it is easy for me to walk around (although I'm wearing a pair of covered shoes with 4inches heels)
The event went on as usual: some speech, presenting gifts to teachers, performances and games. I don't really remember what happened because I was so sleepy. I just came back from Singapore for Got7 Fanmeeting the day before,and that night, I have to pack 120 Teacher's Day's gifts to be given to the teachers, on behalf of the hostel students. You know, like how the parents will pack the gifts for the children to give to the teachers on that day.. haha~

The hostel students made a surprise event for the wardens (four hostel wardens including me) and I can say that their surprise event is way better than the school celebration. They prepared everything so well (even though I kinda noticed their preparation since the evening... with the balloons and all haha) and it's beautiful too! They spread flower petals from our door towards the gazebo where they put the cakes. The gazebo was beautifully decorated with flowers and origami and then they sang a few songs for us. When we thought it was over, they invited us into their study room, and to our surprise, the room was filled with balloons and a table full of feast awaited us! I felt thankful that they spent some times to do this, and really appreciate their effort.

PWH Awards 2015, an award to appreciate our very own Chinese Artists. I received two media passes and passes from FS Family and Henley Hii's Fanclub. I was supposed to sit with FS Family but just my luck, I was escorted to the media section along with my sister and Phoebe, our friend, who is also our translator. The event started off with the red carpet and it was amazing to see everyone coming with such beautiful dress. I get to meet amazing artists like Penny Tai, Soo Wincci, M-Girls, TJ, Geraldine, Orange, Juztin, Hao Ren, Danny Wan, and of course, the ones that I waited, Henley Hii and FS.
The event was fully conducted in Chinese, so I was thankful that Phoebe was there to help me to translate things. We were seated 7 rows away from Henley and 4 rows away from FS (while the fanclubs were seated at the far back having to look at the big screen instead of the real stage, so again, we were so lucky) and we can see everyone clearly, as the artists went in and out of their seating area to receive the award or to prepare for the stage performance. It was an amazing experience and to get to see the trophy up close is also a once in a lifetime experience! FS' managers were seated right in front of us, so every time FS received an award, they will hold it for them, so we can see it right in front of our eyes XD
It was a prestigious event, and I am happy to be part of it, and to experience something like this. Apart form meeting the celebrities, I get to watch live performances, and learn a thing or two about the stage management and all. Everything went on very smoothly and I must say, even if my favourite artists are not nominated for the next award ceremony, I would still attend the again.

I had a bittersweet memory on this one. First, I hate extreme heat, so I can't stand being under the sun for too long or else I will get massive headache. Second, I don't really enjoy being in a super crowded place because it would be too noisy, and I hate unnecessary body contact with people while walking through the crowd =.= I have to go through those because of Henley and FS. Thanks to the organiser who provided me with media pass (for the first time, I went under Blogger's pass - MintyMocha) and I was surprised that they gave me the pass despite being a new blog XD I need to work hard to improve my writing skill, and to reach out for more readers! And I got one for my sister under Dorkistic so on that day, we are allowed to certain access, and the best part is we can park at the closest area to the entrance!
The performances of local artists has started before 3 and as we arrived the main stage area, they just finished their performance and the crowd waled away from the stage, knowing that the next stage is "Chinese Singers". Long story short, I was happy to see Henley Hii again because the last time we met him was in 2015 during ONEFM Concert. We felt bad because there aren't many fans cheering for him, but personally, we were happy because we had nice interaction with him throughout the performance. Right after Henley, FS took over the stage and this time, the crowd double because their fanclub arrived just in time. After the performance, my sisters and I waited backstage to waved them goodbye but they ended up stopped by and had a chat with us before saying goodbye.
That's how bittersweet that day was. But it was enough to make me happy the whole week despite the bullshit happening at school.

Went to Singapore for Vixx Fantasia Utopia in Singapore. Driving to Singapore was fun and I love their highway and how we can reach from one place to another in less than an hour haha~ my two sisters are avid Vixx fans so where Vixx are, they will be there too, and I will eventually be there as well.

Met FS as they became guest performer at Neway Karaoke Competition Finals at Fahrenheit88 (May 31st) and for their Album Promo and College Tour at New Era College Kajang. The other FS Family members were surprised to see me frequently now lol. Well, I go for the music. They can sing live very well, and I just want to enjoy live music while taking a break from school so I try to attend as many event as I could during the holiday. However, not only the fanclub starting to recognise me, but FS themselves haha~ plus, the events are mostly free or costs less than MYR50.
Looks like I have been meeting idols most of the time, and other than that, I just stayed home, marking exam papers and spending the day with my family. Home sweet home~

[FANGIRL] Upcoming Events
Vixx Utopia in Singapore
My sisters are avid fan of Vixx and they followed the Utopia tour including in Korea and Thailand. Me? Well, I just want to go back and visit Singapore again ahaha~ I listen to Vixx and I know their song but I am not a fan of them tho but yes, they have series of good songs, especially the one written by Shin, one of my favourite songwriter XD
PWH Music Award 2015
This is a Chinese Music Award, held by the Chinese Journalist Association to appreciate the work of our local artists. I am going to cheer for our local idols like Henley, FS and more. It is ironic that I listen to our local artist too, but the Chinese idols, instead of the Malay ones haha~
There will be a HUGE language barrier during the event but oh well, as long as I get to listen to good music, I will enjoy myself there ^^
Putrajaya Youth Festival 2015
One of the biggest Youth Festival in Malaysia. I have been interested in this even since they held one of the festival right in front of my house back in early 2000. But then, I never been to the festival before. The first PYF that I attended was in 2012 where they even invited Korean idols to perform on stage (U-Kiss, Teen Top and Dal Shabet)
I have been planning to come for this year's fest, and I heard that FS is having an event there too, so that will surely make me go!
K-Pop World Festival in Malaysia
Just because Vixx will be attending as the judge haha~ I hope there will be more talents from Malaysia to be in the international entertainment industry. 'nuff said, lol.
I enjoy going to events like this to meet people and to unwind from my school workload. It is nice to listen to live music and of course, to hang out with my siblings ^^ There will also be Big Bang and Bangtan Boys concert in Malaysia but they are not my priority tho, since I am not their fans keke~

[BLOG] Long Weekend Day 2
At around 11.30am, they opened the door and people rushed it. Since we were informed about the Acsson booth whereabouts, so we just go straight there to get FS's single album for free. Turned out that we need to take photo at the photobooth area and post it on our Instagram to get the album. Easy eh? So we did it, and I got two albums (for me and another one is for Aya who informed me about the event) After that, we have a few more hours before the meet and greet so we walked around to check out the gadgets and mobile accessories. I have to keep my mind straight to not buying anything because I'm under a very tight budget (we are going to Singapore again at the end of the month so I need to save up) or else I would have bought so many things including cute thumbdrives, Starbucks power bank and even the selcabong because the handles are too cute!
The boys appeared at 3.00++ and they sang three songs, played games with fans, and had a quiz session too. At the end of the event, there was a fansigning session so I went up to get my CD signed. Being the only Malay gathering at the stage, it caught Sam's attention (I was standing at the left area of the stage near him) and yup, his surprised face is no longer a surprise for me because he did that during the Seremban event (of which the only Malay during that event was me). Honestly, I was kinda scared of the fanclub because they are all wearing the official t-shirt, and it made me think that the event is actually a private event for only the fanclub lol XD Since the emcee didn't notice that they have a Malay fan there, so they are speaking Chinese throughout the event, which I have to struggle to understand them with my very limited Mandarin skill (I blame myself for not studying really hard during my Mandarin lesson back in uni. I was busy staring at the handsome tutor rofl)
On stage for the fansign, Fuying and Sam greeted me (thanks for remembering me, Sam!) and that's when Fuying said "long time no see!" and we talked for a while. Being a noona, I felt like a real noona, asking how are they doing and such. I told them to come to Johore more often and Sam was surprised that I drove all the way here just to see them (it's no big deal guys, as long as I get to listen to you guys live!) before I get off the stage, Fuying even reminded me to drive safely lol (which I only did until Seremban, and then I went off speed limit because I was so sleepy driving below 100 keke)
It was fun to meet them again, and since they are our local idols, the feeling is different. You feel even closer, and you get to speak your language, although of course, I was too nervous that I only speak English. Thanks Sam for speaking English a lot this time hahaha~ I don't want to make a fool of myself because the last time we talked, Sam used Malay and I replied in English ahahhaha //I don't speak Malay much unless necessary, and I even sleeptalk in English// To hear them live is such a bliss. I enjoy listening to live music and they sang all their songs live. I can't be even happier than that. Even when I have to drive back right after that, I don't feel tired at all because it was a fun day. You know how people will screencap and spazzed out when their idols liked their photos on IG? For Sam to like my FS nailart, and Fuying to like my photo of myself with them made me so excited, even more excited than when my K-idols liked my photos lewl~ //it's Malaysian thing I guess XD// Thanks FS!
And to add with that, I am officially an FSfamily member too lol. I still have so many local idols whom I want to meet again (including Alvin, Henley and Daniel) how I wish there is OneFM concert like last time, where I get to meet my local, Taiwanese and even Korean idols in one place!

[EVENT] KLIBF 2015 - I'm Back
29042015 - KL International Book Fair is back. Thrilled? No. Because I have to chaperon my students for the trip and IT IS ON THE SAME DAY AS ROYAL PIRATE KL SHOWCASE asdfghjkl. My job is more important so I have to say goodbye to RP T_T I can't even go back home because of that so I'm spending the long weekend here in BP.
But hey, good thing comes to those who waits aite? My friend, Aya Katalked me informing me if that FS Fuying Sam is having an event on Saturday at Mid Valley. checking at my schedule, oyeah, I'm free! so yup, I said yes and now I have to plan my journey to KL to see FS.
I last met them in January, and it would be amazing to see them again. I'm not sure which event is that but I hope this time I'm "strong" enough to take photos of Fuying without feeling nervous and make my photos blurry XD

SCHOOL HOLIDAY
So, my previous post was on the 10th of November, and today is the 20th of December kekeke~ I've been enjoying my school holiday too much eh? Yeap, more or less. It was fun to be with the family, doing things (and nothing) together and eating my heart out too. Since all the children are home, mom became so into cooking. She spent most of the time in the kitchen, which you hardly see in the other months lol. I have four days left before I went back to Johore and here are the recaps of what I did.
Parents' Wedding Anniversary (28th November)
All four of us siblings were home so we went out to our second favourite mall, Setia City Mall to have our teatime at Starbucks and then had seafood dinner.
Sister's birthday (2nd December)
This time, we went to Alamanda because daddy craved for the food court's chicken chop lol. Mom bought a ukulele and after that we drop by Setia City Mall to pick up my Boys Republic CD and bought Nanae a balloon. She's a balloon fan and we got her this customized balloon for her birthday since last year.
Boys Republic Showcase (8th December)
My long-awaited moment was here when I finally get to meet my favourite member of Touch, Choi Dabin. However, it is not Touch who came, but Dabin and his new group, Boys Republic. I didn't enjoy the event because it was a free event and people were too busy taking picture and I was too short to tip-toe and look at the stage because of the camera so I sat down at the back, listening to them. The signing session was fun, where the boys were so eager asking about my official Boys Republic slogan. Only two people have this slogan during that event which was me and Szen. Thanks Szen for buying me the slogan! Dabin's eyes were like so round, pointing at the slogan, and asking the translator noona to translate whatever he says and I replied him in English as my sister translated it to him lol. I am a bit emotional, and I even planned to beg him to sign my Touch album but I don't want the other members to feel that I only like Dabin. Boys Rep is one talented group, and they know how to handle the crowd and the fans well ^^
Mom's Birthday (18th December)
In conjunction to Mom's birthday, we all went for a short vacation to Malacca. It was fun, and minus the heat, I love everything about Malacca XD
