#39 - One-Week Holiday
The one-week holiday is here but I can't really relax because we have tonnes to do at school once it reopens next week XD Nonetheless it is still fun because I will be away from the school and hostel. I have so many projects in my head so I need to sort them out. One of the big event we are having is the Art and Music Festival which will be held at the end of the year. We have to do the audition as well as planning for it to make sure it will go smoothly. Some teachers don't really like it that my friend and I are very active in doing events, but that's what we enjoy doing tho hahaha~
I bought an .xyz domain yesterday because I just can't help it! my friends and I both bought it and for now I use it to write daily prompts and it was to teach my friend how to use domain and install wordpress to the domain and all. Since I already got the domain, so I will use it for one of my upcoming project. For now it is just a plain pre-made theme, with no content yet. Once everything is set up, I will share the link here~
I have been learning brush lettering since a month ago but I still need lots of practice.. it is not as smooth yet because sometimes I stopped in the middle instead of writing smoothly XD
#38 - Wait, What?
Omo, look at the date, it's already September! and yeah, my siblings are mocking me because I am turning Two new historical drama made their debut on TV last week: Love in the Moonlight and Scarlet Heart: Ryeo. I can't help but to watch both tho I don't really wait for the episodes. I only reached episode 3 for both dramas, and I will wait until I am free to watch the latest ones. BUT, my sister has been feeding me with Lee Junki's stuff and one of it were some adorable art/cartoon featuring the actors in Scarlet Heart: Ryeo. The fan is nice enough to give the download link so I turn them into stickers. Check my journal spread below:

So much of "no spend", I bought two packets of charms from AppreciatoWashiland! I just can't help it because they are too adorable, and I always wanted to have little charms for my journal, so I bought them XD I only used two of them, and I need to buy new straps to make more journal elastics~

#32 - Getting back, again.
I'm back, sorta, LOL. Just because I am kinda free tonight with nothing important in my to-do list. I managed to change my layout and feature one of the most impossible human that I could feature on my layout. Yup, Shin Soohyun is my ultimate idol bias and I can never be able to work on his solo photo since his debut. However I am proud to say that I managed to handle myself and managed to create this simple layout featuring him because U-Kiss' comeback is amazing! Well, not really, but the song Take It Slow got me XD Check it out here:
And as for my life, well, school just reopens and I have a whole new stuff to do, especially when the exam is over and I need to analyse my students' results, and plan on the next thing to do to improve their English. The 1.8 students are going sorta out of control these days - only the boys. However, I guess it is because they are still in the holiday mode? I hope they will be back to their old new-selves like the one before the holiday. Took me three months to get their head in the game, and it took only two weeks of schoolbreak for them to lose it again! kids~ lol.

#29 - Journaling, the traditional way.
In a better light, since the Internet is down, I spent most of my time on my phone, as well as writing in my journal. I am kinda going back to basic of writing on paper, rather than in my blog. However I would rather do both, so there will be updates on both my journal and my blog. Journal writing helps me jot down thoughts at any time and any place. Well, I actually tried blogging via Blogger app but it is so limited and so not user-friendly that I ended up uninstalling it from my tab. Thus, with the "Planner Addict" craze which I recently got myself into, I found writing on papers are more interesting than before.
I mostly design and print my own stickers, because I prefer to have stickers that suit my need in my daily life, and as for washi tapes, I just hope that someone would stop me from buying them! I used to collect plastic decorative tapes since I was in highschool, and now, I added washi tapes in my collection. I spent so much on it without me knowing it. I guess this is just the beginning, LOL. For now, I limit myself to buy tapes which costs not more than MYR5 per roll. FOR NOW. haha~ You can see my washi tapes and journaling pages on my Instagram and see it for yourself XD
I have a planner where I write down topic and ideas to blog. I shall start posting it once I am done with moving all my stuff from the old laptop. Bbyong!

[DESIGN] I like it too much
I've been into making premades these days, and I kinda like the one I made featuring Amber of F(x) which you can see above. I almost decided to not putting it up for sale but then, it will be a waste if I didn't use it, so, with the thought of giving the best design to my visitors, I decided to put it up on sale just like my other premades. I kinda threw in random PNGs but I guess it's the whole colouring that make it looks nice, and of course, being Amber's fan, I might be a little biased there XD

I joined Char Moonlust's Domain Giveaway Contest, and since they don't really know Korean Music, so I have a hard time deciding which idol should I feature, especially when I need to use my own PNG. So I decided to use Ailee pictures, although it looks "provocative" I really like the pictures and they are kinda easy to render hahaha XD I threw in lots of textures, hence the super long credit below the sitename lol. I hope I win something, especially the domain, since I am too lazy to buy a new one lol XD
[GRAPHIC] Latest addiction
Can it be called "addiction"? for the past few days I have been making phone wallpapers, and even making it in two different sizes - for Android and iOS. I asked my friends to test it on their phones and I am happy with the result because with that one size, it can fit in most of Android phones while maintaining its quality (minus a few models) and with iOS, I have problems determining the exact size for iPhone 5, 6 and 6plus. I ended up reading four to five forums and website about it and still I can't get the exact answer. I guess I will just stick with Android first hahaha~

We had a Teacher's Day celebration at school, and the theme is "Back To School" but I never planned to wear my school uniform (which will bring back all the nightmares I had when I was in high school) So I decided to go with "college look". I wore a blouse, trousers, a jacket and added some accessories like file binders, student card, and backpack. I couldn't care less when some teachers commented how I didn't show much effort, unlike them who even bought a new set of school uniform just for that 5 hours event! Plus, I will be walking around taking photos, so since I'm wearing trousers, it is easy for me to walk around (although I'm wearing a pair of covered shoes with 4inches heels)
The event went on as usual: some speech, presenting gifts to teachers, performances and games. I don't really remember what happened because I was so sleepy. I just came back from Singapore for Got7 Fanmeeting the day before,and that night, I have to pack 120 Teacher's Day's gifts to be given to the teachers, on behalf of the hostel students. You know, like how the parents will pack the gifts for the children to give to the teachers on that day.. haha~

The hostel students made a surprise event for the wardens (four hostel wardens including me) and I can say that their surprise event is way better than the school celebration. They prepared everything so well (even though I kinda noticed their preparation since the evening... with the balloons and all haha) and it's beautiful too! They spread flower petals from our door towards the gazebo where they put the cakes. The gazebo was beautifully decorated with flowers and origami and then they sang a few songs for us. When we thought it was over, they invited us into their study room, and to our surprise, the room was filled with balloons and a table full of feast awaited us! I felt thankful that they spent some times to do this, and really appreciate their effort.

PWH Awards 2015, an award to appreciate our very own Chinese Artists. I received two media passes and passes from FS Family and Henley Hii's Fanclub. I was supposed to sit with FS Family but just my luck, I was escorted to the media section along with my sister and Phoebe, our friend, who is also our translator. The event started off with the red carpet and it was amazing to see everyone coming with such beautiful dress. I get to meet amazing artists like Penny Tai, Soo Wincci, M-Girls, TJ, Geraldine, Orange, Juztin, Hao Ren, Danny Wan, and of course, the ones that I waited, Henley Hii and FS.
The event was fully conducted in Chinese, so I was thankful that Phoebe was there to help me to translate things. We were seated 7 rows away from Henley and 4 rows away from FS (while the fanclubs were seated at the far back having to look at the big screen instead of the real stage, so again, we were so lucky) and we can see everyone clearly, as the artists went in and out of their seating area to receive the award or to prepare for the stage performance. It was an amazing experience and to get to see the trophy up close is also a once in a lifetime experience! FS' managers were seated right in front of us, so every time FS received an award, they will hold it for them, so we can see it right in front of our eyes XD
It was a prestigious event, and I am happy to be part of it, and to experience something like this. Apart form meeting the celebrities, I get to watch live performances, and learn a thing or two about the stage management and all. Everything went on very smoothly and I must say, even if my favourite artists are not nominated for the next award ceremony, I would still attend the again.

I had a bittersweet memory on this one. First, I hate extreme heat, so I can't stand being under the sun for too long or else I will get massive headache. Second, I don't really enjoy being in a super crowded place because it would be too noisy, and I hate unnecessary body contact with people while walking through the crowd =.= I have to go through those because of Henley and FS. Thanks to the organiser who provided me with media pass (for the first time, I went under Blogger's pass - MintyMocha) and I was surprised that they gave me the pass despite being a new blog XD I need to work hard to improve my writing skill, and to reach out for more readers! And I got one for my sister under Dorkistic so on that day, we are allowed to certain access, and the best part is we can park at the closest area to the entrance!
The performances of local artists has started before 3 and as we arrived the main stage area, they just finished their performance and the crowd waled away from the stage, knowing that the next stage is "Chinese Singers". Long story short, I was happy to see Henley Hii again because the last time we met him was in 2015 during ONEFM Concert. We felt bad because there aren't many fans cheering for him, but personally, we were happy because we had nice interaction with him throughout the performance. Right after Henley, FS took over the stage and this time, the crowd double because their fanclub arrived just in time. After the performance, my sisters and I waited backstage to waved them goodbye but they ended up stopped by and had a chat with us before saying goodbye.
That's how bittersweet that day was. But it was enough to make me happy the whole week despite the bullshit happening at school.

Went to Singapore for Vixx Fantasia Utopia in Singapore. Driving to Singapore was fun and I love their highway and how we can reach from one place to another in less than an hour haha~ my two sisters are avid Vixx fans so where Vixx are, they will be there too, and I will eventually be there as well.

Met FS as they became guest performer at Neway Karaoke Competition Finals at Fahrenheit88 (May 31st) and for their Album Promo and College Tour at New Era College Kajang. The other FS Family members were surprised to see me frequently now lol. Well, I go for the music. They can sing live very well, and I just want to enjoy live music while taking a break from school so I try to attend as many event as I could during the holiday. However, not only the fanclub starting to recognise me, but FS themselves haha~ plus, the events are mostly free or costs less than MYR50.
Looks like I have been meeting idols most of the time, and other than that, I just stayed home, marking exam papers and spending the day with my family. Home sweet home~

[NAILS] Tony Moly's Pink Candy
So I was rearranging my nailpolish (which I keep in a shoebox lol) and I noticed that I have an unopened bottle, which is obviously magical! Why? Because, I will usually try all the nailpolish that I bought right when I reached home, so to have one which is untouched, and considered that I haven't been shopping for new nail polish for quite some time amazed me keke~
So there you go, a glitter polish called Pink Candy by Tony Moly. I don't usually paint my nails during school night because it will be a waste to wear one just for a few hours, but then I can't wait for weekend to try it so yeah, I will just do it quick and remove it before I go to school the next day. You know the agony of wearing glitter polish, right? It looks so pretty on your nails but it is so hard to remove it, so again, I don't know why I insisted on wearing this.
I love the texture of the polish, where the glitter speckles are just tiny and it won't really caught people's eyes. It looks fine even with only one layer of thin polish, for a quick dry, but I put on 3 layers - also because it dries quickly and I just want to have a brighter colour.
The colour is nice - if only my skin is of two years ago, lol. I got darker in these two years because of the excessive exposure to the sun, being a morning session teacher. When you are in morning session, all the sports activities will be conducted after school, at 3PM to 6PM so imagine the sunburn you will get =.= And that's why, it is now harder for me to find a suitable nailpolish to match my now-tanned skin lol
After taking the photos above, I noticed that my cuticles look better that the one I have when I wear the purple nailpolish last week (picture below):
I was so amazed myself. Well, I am kinda stupid tho, because I haven't been diligent enough in taking care of my nails, unlike back then when I spend my weekend painting my nails and post it on IG. When I got busy this year, I just couldn't care less. I didn't put on the nail strengthener, or even put on nail lotion on regular basis. I just do it when I remembered to do it.
However, a few days ago, the weather has gotten so hot that my hand feels dry, so I started putting on lotion on regular basis again. In fact, before I put on the Pink Candy, my cuticles are still like the one above. So I put on the Etude House Hand Cream around it for two times, and then put on the nail polish. I only realised how it really changed the nail's condition in a few seconds! //happy//
My fave. I have too many hand creams but this one stays with me the longest.
That's how I basically take care of my nails, other than the ones I read on the net AND the nail mask.
[BLOG] Long Weekend Day 1
1. Everything Shinhwa
I slept so early last night (around 10.30pm because I felt frustrated over something, so I decided to sleep before I start killing someone) and I woke up kinda early too. I've used up all my peak quota of my Yes4G, but I still have about 10GB off peak quota so since I woke up early, I decided to watch All About Shinhwa on YouTube at 4AM! and then continued with Shinhwa The Return DVD, The Classic DVD and back to rewatching X-Man, Invincible Youth, Running Man and Cool Kiz on The Block, of which Shinhwa became the guest.
And then I remembered that I haven't opened by Shinhwa The Return Special Limited album, so I decided to unbox it today. I bought all versions of The Return album to commemorate their comeback so I have the normal version in my car. The album is as big as DBSK's Keep Your Head Down, with the same casing material. However, the photobook is thinner but of course full of amazing photos of Eric, Hyesung, Andy, Junjin, Minwoo and Dongwan. Here are some photos of the album:

2. Paint my nails
I haven't taken care of my nails for quite sometimes, and you can see my cuticles are looking so bad there XD I spent 5 minutes trying to find the best colour to match my now-burnt-skin due to excessive exposure to the sun T_T I can't find any good one tho. It's frustrating that it will take a while before my skin will go back to its normal shade T_T So I just used OPI's Siberian Night and those smudges on it were letters F and S for Fuying and Sam written using Tony Moly's Ash Silver.
I fell asleep while waiting for it to dry and the result? IT LOOKS UGLY BUT OH WELL I WON'T REDO THEM AGAIN lol XD
3. Reading
I started reading Killer's Wedge by Ed McBain. I bought two new novels last week and I just started reading it. I will update my GoodReads later ^^

[PORTFOLIO] Of wedding and travelling
It was really a struggle, to set the camera based on the surrounding (it was an indoor photoshoot since it was raining heavily outside) and also because I'm not good in interacting with the couple. I don't know how to ask them to pose here and there. Luckily I have my friends to help me with that. They were so talkative, asking the newly-weds to pose and I just quietly snap everything, as much as I can.
I felt thankful that my friend was satisfied with the outcome. Since it was her second wedding, she didn't want it to be too extravagant, but oh well, thanks to our talkative fellow friends, the photos came out pretty well. Below are some of the photos that I have edited:
