We had a Teacher's Day celebration at school, and the theme is "Back To School" but I never planned to wear my school uniform (which will bring back all the nightmares I had when I was in high school) So I decided to go with "college look". I wore a blouse, trousers, a jacket and added some accessories like file binders, student card, and backpack. I couldn't care less when some teachers commented how I didn't show much effort, unlike them who even bought a new set of school uniform just for that 5 hours event! Plus, I will be walking around taking photos, so since I'm wearing trousers, it is easy for me to walk around (although I'm wearing a pair of covered shoes with 4inches heels)
The event went on as usual: some speech, presenting gifts to teachers, performances and games. I don't really remember what happened because I was so sleepy. I just came back from Singapore for Got7 Fanmeeting the day before,and that night, I have to pack 120 Teacher's Day's gifts to be given to the teachers, on behalf of the hostel students. You know, like how the parents will pack the gifts for the children to give to the teachers on that day.. haha~

The hostel students made a surprise event for the wardens (four hostel wardens including me) and I can say that their surprise event is way better than the school celebration. They prepared everything so well (even though I kinda noticed their preparation since the evening... with the balloons and all haha) and it's beautiful too! They spread flower petals from our door towards the gazebo where they put the cakes. The gazebo was beautifully decorated with flowers and origami and then they sang a few songs for us. When we thought it was over, they invited us into their study room, and to our surprise, the room was filled with balloons and a table full of feast awaited us! I felt thankful that they spent some times to do this, and really appreciate their effort.

PWH Awards 2015, an award to appreciate our very own Chinese Artists. I received two media passes and passes from FS Family and Henley Hii's Fanclub. I was supposed to sit with FS Family but just my luck, I was escorted to the media section along with my sister and Phoebe, our friend, who is also our translator. The event started off with the red carpet and it was amazing to see everyone coming with such beautiful dress. I get to meet amazing artists like Penny Tai, Soo Wincci, M-Girls, TJ, Geraldine, Orange, Juztin, Hao Ren, Danny Wan, and of course, the ones that I waited, Henley Hii and FS.
The event was fully conducted in Chinese, so I was thankful that Phoebe was there to help me to translate things. We were seated 7 rows away from Henley and 4 rows away from FS (while the fanclubs were seated at the far back having to look at the big screen instead of the real stage, so again, we were so lucky) and we can see everyone clearly, as the artists went in and out of their seating area to receive the award or to prepare for the stage performance. It was an amazing experience and to get to see the trophy up close is also a once in a lifetime experience! FS' managers were seated right in front of us, so every time FS received an award, they will hold it for them, so we can see it right in front of our eyes XD
It was a prestigious event, and I am happy to be part of it, and to experience something like this. Apart form meeting the celebrities, I get to watch live performances, and learn a thing or two about the stage management and all. Everything went on very smoothly and I must say, even if my favourite artists are not nominated for the next award ceremony, I would still attend the again.

I had a bittersweet memory on this one. First, I hate extreme heat, so I can't stand being under the sun for too long or else I will get massive headache. Second, I don't really enjoy being in a super crowded place because it would be too noisy, and I hate unnecessary body contact with people while walking through the crowd =.= I have to go through those because of Henley and FS. Thanks to the organiser who provided me with media pass (for the first time, I went under Blogger's pass - MintyMocha) and I was surprised that they gave me the pass despite being a new blog XD I need to work hard to improve my writing skill, and to reach out for more readers! And I got one for my sister under Dorkistic so on that day, we are allowed to certain access, and the best part is we can park at the closest area to the entrance!
The performances of local artists has started before 3 and as we arrived the main stage area, they just finished their performance and the crowd waled away from the stage, knowing that the next stage is "Chinese Singers". Long story short, I was happy to see Henley Hii again because the last time we met him was in 2015 during ONEFM Concert. We felt bad because there aren't many fans cheering for him, but personally, we were happy because we had nice interaction with him throughout the performance. Right after Henley, FS took over the stage and this time, the crowd double because their fanclub arrived just in time. After the performance, my sisters and I waited backstage to waved them goodbye but they ended up stopped by and had a chat with us before saying goodbye.
That's how bittersweet that day was. But it was enough to make me happy the whole week despite the bullshit happening at school.

Went to Singapore for Vixx Fantasia Utopia in Singapore. Driving to Singapore was fun and I love their highway and how we can reach from one place to another in less than an hour haha~ my two sisters are avid Vixx fans so where Vixx are, they will be there too, and I will eventually be there as well.

Met FS as they became guest performer at Neway Karaoke Competition Finals at Fahrenheit88 (May 31st) and for their Album Promo and College Tour at New Era College Kajang. The other FS Family members were surprised to see me frequently now lol. Well, I go for the music. They can sing live very well, and I just want to enjoy live music while taking a break from school so I try to attend as many event as I could during the holiday. However, not only the fanclub starting to recognise me, but FS themselves haha~ plus, the events are mostly free or costs less than MYR50.
Looks like I have been meeting idols most of the time, and other than that, I just stayed home, marking exam papers and spending the day with my family. Home sweet home~

[FANGIRL] Upcoming Events
Vixx Utopia in Singapore
My sisters are avid fan of Vixx and they followed the Utopia tour including in Korea and Thailand. Me? Well, I just want to go back and visit Singapore again ahaha~ I listen to Vixx and I know their song but I am not a fan of them tho but yes, they have series of good songs, especially the one written by Shin, one of my favourite songwriter XD
PWH Music Award 2015
This is a Chinese Music Award, held by the Chinese Journalist Association to appreciate the work of our local artists. I am going to cheer for our local idols like Henley, FS and more. It is ironic that I listen to our local artist too, but the Chinese idols, instead of the Malay ones haha~
There will be a HUGE language barrier during the event but oh well, as long as I get to listen to good music, I will enjoy myself there ^^
Putrajaya Youth Festival 2015
One of the biggest Youth Festival in Malaysia. I have been interested in this even since they held one of the festival right in front of my house back in early 2000. But then, I never been to the festival before. The first PYF that I attended was in 2012 where they even invited Korean idols to perform on stage (U-Kiss, Teen Top and Dal Shabet)
I have been planning to come for this year's fest, and I heard that FS is having an event there too, so that will surely make me go!
K-Pop World Festival in Malaysia
Just because Vixx will be attending as the judge haha~ I hope there will be more talents from Malaysia to be in the international entertainment industry. 'nuff said, lol.
I enjoy going to events like this to meet people and to unwind from my school workload. It is nice to listen to live music and of course, to hang out with my siblings ^^ There will also be Big Bang and Bangtan Boys concert in Malaysia but they are not my priority tho, since I am not their fans keke~

[BLOG] Long Weekend Day 1
1. Everything Shinhwa
I slept so early last night (around 10.30pm because I felt frustrated over something, so I decided to sleep before I start killing someone) and I woke up kinda early too. I've used up all my peak quota of my Yes4G, but I still have about 10GB off peak quota so since I woke up early, I decided to watch All About Shinhwa on YouTube at 4AM! and then continued with Shinhwa The Return DVD, The Classic DVD and back to rewatching X-Man, Invincible Youth, Running Man and Cool Kiz on The Block, of which Shinhwa became the guest.
And then I remembered that I haven't opened by Shinhwa The Return Special Limited album, so I decided to unbox it today. I bought all versions of The Return album to commemorate their comeback so I have the normal version in my car. The album is as big as DBSK's Keep Your Head Down, with the same casing material. However, the photobook is thinner but of course full of amazing photos of Eric, Hyesung, Andy, Junjin, Minwoo and Dongwan. Here are some photos of the album:

2. Paint my nails
I haven't taken care of my nails for quite sometimes, and you can see my cuticles are looking so bad there XD I spent 5 minutes trying to find the best colour to match my now-burnt-skin due to excessive exposure to the sun T_T I can't find any good one tho. It's frustrating that it will take a while before my skin will go back to its normal shade T_T So I just used OPI's Siberian Night and those smudges on it were letters F and S for Fuying and Sam written using Tony Moly's Ash Silver.
I fell asleep while waiting for it to dry and the result? IT LOOKS UGLY BUT OH WELL I WON'T REDO THEM AGAIN lol XD
3. Reading
I started reading Killer's Wedge by Ed McBain. I bought two new novels last week and I just started reading it. I will update my GoodReads later ^^

28042015 - I have been listening to my students' singing (
I'm not a good singer myself, but having a musical background, I know a thing or two about pitching, keys and whatnots so I am very particular when choosing our candidate to sing in competitions, especially ASAT. Until now, we haven't found any good singer - there are a few, but they can't really pull traditional songs well, so we need to train them, which means, there will be a lot of screaming and crying and shouting, lol. Yup, I am a very strict music trainer. I have made my friends cry during our Angklung Competition's training, and I have made my student cry during last year's training for ASAT. sigh.
Okay, let's get back to listening to Shinhwa (I feel like changing my layout and feature Shinhwa next haha~)

31102013 - Lesson Learnt
How do you like the new layout? I guess it's my fault that my hitcounter is not moving haha~ I haven't been visiting my friends these days. I've been busy marking my students final exam papers, and at the same time I have to managed the post-examination activities for the students. Two more weeks before school ends, and there are so many things to be done and I have to rush myself into everything. However, as I get busier, I will get stressful, and being careful to not adding the stress by eating, I do something else. In this case - designing. I remembered back in my university days, I just can't live without Photoshop, and even during final exams, I will make sure to do something on Photoshop for a few minutes before I started studying. It has became a habit and until today, every time I switch on my laptop, my hand will unconsciously clicked Photoshop before anything else, even though I am not using it.
So these days, despite all the workloads, I spent a few minutes on Photoshop, trying to build my portfolio. It has been a while since I reopens layout request and I fell like opening it again very soon. I hope my design is good enough for people to pay. Even if they don't want to pay, they still can request for free and I would be happy enough to work on the layout ^^ Thanks to my little cousin who bought me a domain, and I hope I can open it soon.
Two days ago, my students presented their show for Literature Day. 1RK1 did a sketch version of Journey to the Center of the Earth while 2RK2 tried out Choral Speaking for the first time. I was kind of satisfied with their performance, and a little bit sad that 2RK2 did not win. I really hope they will win because of the hardwork shown by them since their first training. But oh well, I hope at least the program will be an eye-opener for the students to love English, and also as their personal experience in learning how to mingle around, cmmunicate with others and express themselves through English.
Two weeks earlier, I met Vixx for the first time. I've been hearing about this group for almost every day because both my sisters are huge fans of them. To meet them in real life is an honour to me and it has been a while since I ever felt the goosebumps of listening to live music - since A-Prince. Yes, I miss A-Prince so much but A-Prince and Vixx are two different groups that I can't compare with each other. Talking about K-Pop, a few new groups are debuting and I am anticipating for them because I am supporting the members who have been in previously debuted group. In this case, I am supporting a new group called Nu-Bility because the leader, Taehyuk was my favourite member of a group called Taken. There is also M.Pire whom I like because of their Chinese member called Red and now the group has added a new member, Lumin who used to be in F.Cuz. Korean music industry is as complicated as their fandoms. I hope they will deliver unique music which I can enjoy while supporting them ^^
25022013 - Ups and Downs
Later in the afternoon, I found out that our youngest cat, Latter died, and that really affect me for the rest of the day. However, I need to get myself together because I have four classes to teach today. We didn't do anything much today, except for reading. I realized that there are students who are pretty good in writing, but when it comes to reading, they have to struggle a lot. It surprised me because I don't really spend much time on reading orally because I expect they all can at least read. Because of that, I decided to do some reading test and divide my students into a few groups so that I can take action and help them improve their reading skills.
Back into my album, BTOB is not a group that I fell into since their debut. I like unknown group, and BTOB is never an unknown group. They under Cube Entertainment, where it also the company of B2ST, 4Minute, G.Na and even A-Pink and A-Prince. Having a strong fanbase since their debut make me lost interest with them, especially when I don't like their earlier songs including Insane. However, everything is changed when I attended Asia Super Showcase 2012 where BTOB is one of the performing line-up, and I was impressed with their strong stage-presence, their ability to control the crowd (whom 80% of them are atually waiting for Super Junior), and of course, with their English-speaking member, Peniel who speaks thick Californian accent. I went home and listened to their second album and I'm pretty much like the playlist and that made me buy the album. Yeah, that's us. If we like the song, we will buy the album. This is our first album from the Cube Entertainment artistes XD Check out the random pictures I took and I even received a free gift, which is Minho's Character socks! 20022013 - Things to be happy about~
Firstly, I received my sticker packs which I bid on ebay last week. The stickers are too cute to resist!! I know my sister will kill me because she said that I shouldn't be easily seduced by all the pretty things because I will end up buying it but I never use it. I've started to use the stickers, which surprisingly suit my colourful 2013 planner ^^ There are two packets of stickers and each packet contains six sets of cute girls with different designs and sayings. They are written in Korean too. I even received free gifts, which are the masking sticker sets. I squealed in happiness to see them and I promise myself to use them all XD If only I can use it in my blog here XD
Secondly, I received my Taekwondo uniform. I never tried taekwondo before, but I've been appointed as one of the teachers to manage the Taekwondo team at school. It is the government's rule that the teachers (and students) need to wear uniforms every Wednesday, and I plan to wear my Taekwondo uniform next week. I really like it although the material is a bit thick that I will sweat a lot but I'm kind of proud to own it. Maybe I will enroll for a class soon XD
Thirdly, after being so unlucky on the Exabytes' giveaway, today, I managed to catch on their promotion : MYR0.99 for a .net domain. The normal price is MYR55 and I'm happy that I get to buy my friend a domain. It is called Imagin3e.net. I even bought a domain to myself which is called WowBeat. Isn't that obvious that wowbeat is something which came from BTOB? ahahhaa~ I don't know why I came to like this group. I don't know the members, but I like their songs, so musically, I'm their fan and WoW is one of their songs. Now I need to re-arrange all my sites again hik~
Now listening to Excite's comeback song after Try Again, which is "Let's Just" It's totally my song and I hope I can find more videos of them performing this song XD
And I still need to find one fine day for me to write about my water-marbling journey XD till then... bye~!

13022013 - Poster Giveaway
Alright, enough with the lame story, let's talk about what happened today. A week ago, my sisters decided to do a major cleaning in our room - I share my room with my two sisters. During the cleaning, they collected too many posters (since we bought too many albums which came with free posters) and they decided to throw it away. However, the posters were still "alive" in our room, so I decided to give it away. I posted some previews in Dorkistic's Facebook and the first few people who replied with their favourite idol's name will get a poster. It was fun. Later on, I did the same event on Twitter and so four more posters were given away. Those are old posters that we have been collecting for a while now. Look at these posters:
I don't even know that I have a B1A4 poster! and that Big Bang poster is pretty huge too~ what you see up there is just one third of the posters that we own. I don't know that old posters like can be a treasure to other people. Some of the posters even have autographs and we decided to keep that for a while until we have a special day to give it away. We hardly hang our posters, so they will be kept under the bed, in the postage tube. I'm glad that we can give them to a new family, where they might be treasured and even hanged on the wall. Let's take a look at some of the posters that I gave away~
This TVXQ poster is so large, and I put it up on my bedroom wall back during my postgraduate studies. I put JYJ poster beside it too. I never own a TVXQ album, but that year, I bought both TVXQ and JYJ album XD
We received this poster during U-Kiss' Without You showcase - the first ever Korean Idols event that we ever attend. It has Eli's autograph on it. We never missed U-Kiss' showcase in Malaysia so far, and we're proud that we have all our U-Kiss CDs signed by the boys too~
And this is the only Infinite poster that I have. Well, that's the last album of Infinite that I bought. After Nothing's Over, I don't really listen to them because I think their musical style has changed and I don't really like it. Sunggyu's solo album is good tho, but Infinite H is just ridiculous. Sorry Inspirits~ XD
After giving away like 20 posters, we still have plenty, including that Big Bang's huge poster. I'm planning for another giveaway tomorrow so if you want to win them, just follow my site's Facebook and Twitter account and wait for the event to start.
Two more days before the CNY break ended, and I need to prepare myself to be back to my workplace. At least I can meet my students, and have Chatime or Sharetea there XD I will beg my sister to go for a Starbucks tomorrow!
