31102013 - Lesson Learnt
How do you like the new layout? I guess it's my fault that my hitcounter is not moving haha~ I haven't been visiting my friends these days. I've been busy marking my students final exam papers, and at the same time I have to managed the post-examination activities for the students. Two more weeks before school ends, and there are so many things to be done and I have to rush myself into everything. However, as I get busier, I will get stressful, and being careful to not adding the stress by eating, I do something else. In this case - designing. I remembered back in my university days, I just can't live without Photoshop, and even during final exams, I will make sure to do something on Photoshop for a few minutes before I started studying. It has became a habit and until today, every time I switch on my laptop, my hand will unconsciously clicked Photoshop before anything else, even though I am not using it.
So these days, despite all the workloads, I spent a few minutes on Photoshop, trying to build my portfolio. It has been a while since I reopens layout request and I fell like opening it again very soon. I hope my design is good enough for people to pay. Even if they don't want to pay, they still can request for free and I would be happy enough to work on the layout ^^ Thanks to my little cousin who bought me a domain, and I hope I can open it soon.
Two days ago, my students presented their show for Literature Day. 1RK1 did a sketch version of Journey to the Center of the Earth while 2RK2 tried out Choral Speaking for the first time. I was kind of satisfied with their performance, and a little bit sad that 2RK2 did not win. I really hope they will win because of the hardwork shown by them since their first training. But oh well, I hope at least the program will be an eye-opener for the students to love English, and also as their personal experience in learning how to mingle around, cmmunicate with others and express themselves through English.
Two weeks earlier, I met Vixx for the first time. I've been hearing about this group for almost every day because both my sisters are huge fans of them. To meet them in real life is an honour to me and it has been a while since I ever felt the goosebumps of listening to live music - since A-Prince. Yes, I miss A-Prince so much but A-Prince and Vixx are two different groups that I can't compare with each other. Talking about K-Pop, a few new groups are debuting and I am anticipating for them because I am supporting the members who have been in previously debuted group. In this case, I am supporting a new group called Nu-Bility because the leader, Taehyuk was my favourite member of a group called Taken. There is also M.Pire whom I like because of their Chinese member called Red and now the group has added a new member, Lumin who used to be in F.Cuz. Korean music industry is as complicated as their fandoms. I hope they will deliver unique music which I can enjoy while supporting them ^^
07082013 - A Fresh New Fifth Look
Oh, talking about the new layout, it is featuring our very own local group, Gina! Nope, they are not Korean lol~ They are Chinese, and I knew about them when I attended OneFM Concert last year. I went to the concert to cover about B1A4 and A-Pink, and of course to watch Henley (our local good looking and talented solo singer) and when my sisters and I saw Gina on stage, we just fall for them. Personally, I was impressed with their song, "Never Stop Dancing", a catchy and colourful song that they performed that night. They just made their comeback early this month with another catchy and witty song called "Little More". Even though they are critiques about how the song sounded "too-kpop", but the fact that those who said that don't really know about Chinese Music Industry in Malaysia. Our local Chinese groups and artistes are always known for their catchy songs, and Gina is also promoting the same kind of tune. Maybe it is because K-Pop has been too common these days, so people keep comparing. Gina has their own charm and I really hope that they can go farther. I hardly support local music (

18042013 - Blogskin.com Appreciation Post
I think I'm losing my marbles already. With all the workload, people might think that I lie about it. Why? Because for the past few days, I've been lurking on Blogskins.Com too much! Yes, in fact, since five days ago, I've submitted NINE blogskins! Well, most are not new. They were at Dorkistic.Net's page for quite awhile and I just submit it to Blogskin for the users to rate and comment. However, I made two Blogskins-exclusive layouts featuring Lee Hi and Vixx. Looking at all the submission there, it is funny how most of them are minimalist, with black, white and grey as the main colours, and then there are my layouts with bright colour schemes and sometimes too dark but still colurful. Hahaha, I'm weird like that XD Well, since I learnt Photoshop years ago, it has been a way for me to relax myself from the stressful workload. Even during study week back in the university, I can't help but to open the application, make a few graphics and then continue with my study. Well, I can't say my designs are great, but I'm proud that I can use Photoshop, after being a humble user of Honestly, I kind of missed the old Blogskin. I've been a user of Blogskin since 6 years ago and the account that I had now is my second account. I deleted the first one because I'm kinda ashamed with all the crappy newbie-ish design that I had back them XD These days, the "senior" blogskinner hardly come and submit something. How I wish they will be back and give me inspirations that they did years ago. Lol, looks like this is a "blogskin-appreciation" post! I think it is a blogskin appreciation post because as I typed this, my Vixx layout became the Skin of the Day (SOTD)! wooooyeahhh~ well, that layout is not in my list, but my sister requested it and I decided to make it very simple and dark and I think it deserves the SOTD tho.. haha XD

12032013 - Half Asleep
The only thing that I like about this layout is the navigation. It is on the left side of the layout and it's in red, so I think people won't get lost in searching for it. I have to wake up tomorrow to go to the laundromat hehe~ I'm lazy, indeed. Good night!
28022013 - Final Day of February
After this, I'm going to work on my AFF Centre, where I'm doing an overhaul of one of my thread and it will be back like before. I'm re-opening my advertising page, and I am planning to offer proof-reading and beta reading service at a larger scale. Usually, I only accept beta and proofread from close friend but I think it is good to make it public so that there will be more quality stories on AFF, rather than too delusional, self-centered and beyond imagination storyline like what we found on AFF a lot these days. I'm an occasional fanfic reader because it is hard to find good quality stories, but once I started reading a story, I will read it until the last chapter. I hope I will receive lots of support from my AFF friends there XD
Remember when I told you about that site jocker? the one who stole my ShinPanda layout and edit it too much and didn't credit me? Well, it turns out that their account is suspended. I'm so happy to know that and I am so thankful to all my Socialien friends who helped me contacting the admin and all. I hope there won't be anymore cases like this because I'm tired of dealing with jocker. If they can steal and edit other people's layout, why can't they do it on your own?

23022013 - So much of featuring someone else
The hostel students are not going home this week, so I decided to hang out with some of them while doing my work. It was the first time I tried scrapbooking and I have to say that it is not an easy task to do. I have a student who are very diligent and she followed the tutorial on the Net and she helped me a lot with my scrapbook today. I will show you the photos later since I need to go to sleep now. I have to wake up early tomorrow. Yes, even though it is Sunday, I have so many things to do before the Sports Day on Monday.
A special shoutout to my lovely Lunchster, Timah who is celebrating her 25th birthday on the 24th February 2013. She is not my real sister but we became so close that I treat her like my own sister. We share lots of things and we have almost similar taste in almost everything. We hang out together a lot during my Post-grad studies, and now that we're too far away from each other, we still keep in touch through SNS. Age is just a number and I hope you enjoy your life right now and live it to the fullest. All the best for your future and may all your dreams come true. Wo ai ni~!
And today, my sisters and I went crazy again and we ordered 5 albums from Szen! We ordered B.A.P's autographed One Shot album yesterday and how I regret to buying B.A.P's eco-bag too early, or else I will get to buy the eco-bag for their Korea concert =.= Anyway, here's the list of the albums that we ordered today:
