#20 - Of Wedding and Long Journey
It was my cousin's wedding during the weekend. It was a three-days wedding and despite being not-so-close (not even close, I must say) I kinda have to attend the whole three days ceremony, to respect my grandmother, and so that my dad won't have to drive around. I don't mind having to drive down-south even though it is a 5 hours journey, but to drive up North is a no-no. The 1 hour journey would feel like a 2-hours journey! hahaha~ but yeah, I don't want my dad to feel tired, so I offered myself to drive them around to the wedding. Are you expecting photos? nah, like I said, I am not close with the cousin, and I don't feel like taking photos. People might think I am butthurt because she got married before me, but who cares. I have a lot more to accomplish rather than settling down too soon. Wedding is not everything. It is not that I am against marriage, but you see, it is not often that we wake up and suddenly find our other half. I just haven't find him yet.My sister Nanae is coming home tomorrow! Oyeahhh~ but then I have to go back to Johore on Wednesday because I am on duty until December. Today is actually the first day of a one-month school holiday but I don't get the feel yet, probably because I still have to stay at the hostel. Other teachers are having vacation overseas but here I am, stuck at the hostel. But looking at the brighter side, I can use this time to work on my site, and to continue reading books that I have left unread for months. At home, I don't really have time to go online except for after midnight (you know how moms hate it when we spent too much online, even though one part of my income is online? lol). The downside of only having midnights to browse the Net, I always forgot what I was supposed to do online, and sometimes I am just too sleepy to even switch on the laptop XD
At home, my routine comprises of cleaning the cats (we have 5 cages of 11 cats, and 7 indoor cats), cleaning the house, doing laundry, doing the dishes (since mom will do the cooking), short nap, and then cleaning the cats again in the evening and before going to bed. Productive, eh? hahahah~ so far my blog is just a daily write-ups. I am still thinking of what to write next.
