06102013 - Books and more books~
Hi hellew~ How are you doing? Enjoying the weekend so far? Well, I woke up early this morning because we have a programme at the hostel. Later on, went out for a lunch before going back home and spent the rest of the day watching TV. My housemate and I and then went out again after Maghrib to buy dinner, and a few supplies, but holy dear, the traffic is so heavy! Never seen this many cars during the normal weekend, except during Hari Raya and we're stuck on the road for a few times, before we get to go to the places that we wanted to go. I was supposed to go to BP Mall to survey mobile phone prices, since I planned to buy new phones for my siblings however, seeing so many people at BP Mall made me change my mind. I don't like crowded place because you can't walk with ease, and if you go to the restaurants, you can never get good service because the server would be very busy, and you have to wait longer for the food. However, we went to Popular bookstore and you know what... I bought two new books... again XD Here:
It's a 2nd for 50% bargain, and come on, I haven't bought a book since two weeks ago! hahaa~ that's kinda long enough, you know XD However, the first book, The Life List caught my eyes because of the excerpt on the back cover:
Things to do when I grow up. Well, I remembered I have that too back when I was young, and surprisingly, the 2nd and the 3rd is similar to mine! Well, the 2nd one is kind of embarrassing actually (I guess I read too much Jane Austen and Jodi Picoult back then lol) but yeah, seeing the list made me want to read it so I just grab it. Thanks to the voucher I received from my previous buy (6 novels and I regret not buying more, tho hahaa) so I can save a little more, even after the 50% discount.
Right now, I'm reading another book (which you can see in my Goodreads widget on the sidebar) and I just can't wait to finish it so I can start reading The Life List.
It's 4.45am, so I better go to sleep. I'm going out early in the morning tomorrow to buy some groceries. G'nite!
